We view mercy & grace as a right – a right we have to give it to who we want to give to & who is worthy. A right to keep us from getting hurt. When we view mercy & grace that way, we miss the point. Mercy & grace are a gift given to us that strips us of our right to not offer them to others. They’re a gift that has the potential to change the world & were meant to be extended by us.
